A Complete Exhibition

Title: possibly inspired by your ideas for alternative exhibition spaces, as we reviewed in class.

In the folder all of the above should be presented with images of location and works, and works inserted into the space.

Today we covered the following:
1. An examination of the Press Release for the current show in the gallery in contrast to the first Press for POST, Los Angeles, exhibition "Bumpy." The text simply said it was a show about painting and the artists in the show were mentioned. Their names together with the simple sentence were enough to bring the critics down, resulting in four reviews.
2. Construction of a simple flyer 4.25 x 5.5" card, four-up on an 8.5 x 11 card stock, printed and cut at a place such as Kinko's. (It can actually be any size. But keep practical aspects in mind.)
3. Create PDF of card and press release (we'll cover next time) to email out.
4. Gather images from the internet, save, and use Photoshop to insert into the exhibition space, change the perspective of the image to match the space. Also more simple alternatives for those without the use of the software.
