Complete Body

It seems logical that the "Body" is mostly consistent of your works and your teacher's. Be reminded of the gallery space and its dimensions as you move forward. Make diagrams of the space for yourselves, and place the works that you have so far chosen ...

  1. Very sound advice. Do you have a diagram (or the dimensions) of the LBCC gallery space that can be posted to the blog or emailed to the class? Will the project room still be intact and in same location after the student show?

  2. Looks like we can have some fun wheeling around the walls.

Perhaps this can become a performance - we set up chairs for the attendees to quietly sit & we move the walls so they can view from the comfort of their chair or rented sofa.

"Body - we bring art to you"
"Body - don't move yours, we'll bring it to you"

    Other possibilities:

We push everyone around while each attendee sits in a wheelchair. Impactful, painful, thought provoking.

We plop them on horseback (poop bag on the pony of course) & they clomp around the gallery to view the art from another perspective.

  3. actually, the painted floor is vulnerable, walls are too cumbersome... not a good idea to perform with walls and chairs, mainly because of the floor. sorry about this.
